شدد وزير الخارجية السعودي، الأمير فيصل بن فرحان، على أن جميع الإجراءات الإسرائيلية الأحادية في الأراضي الفلسطينية باطلة.

اعتبر أن حماية القدس تعد ركيزة أساسية لأي سلام، وأدان في الوقت ذاته بأشد العبارات الانتهاكات الإسرائيلية في غزة.

وكان وزير الخارجية السعودي، الأمير فيصل بن فرحان، التقى نائب رئيس الوزراء وزير الخارجية وشؤون المغتربين الأردني، أيمن الصفدي، وذلك على هامش الاجتماع الوزاري لدعم القدس وأماكنها المقدسة المنعقد في العاصمة الأردنية عمّان.

وجرى خلال اللقاء استعراض العلاقات الثنائية التي تربط البلدين والشعبين وسبل تعزيزها، إضافة إلى مناقشة المستجدات الإقليمية، لاسيما تطورات الأوضاع في الضفة الغربية وقطاع غزة، والجهود المبذولة بشأنها.
