تلقى جلالة الملك عبدﷲ الثاني، الأحد، اتصالا هاتفيا من جلالة الملك حمد بن عيسى آل خليفة، ملك مملكة البحرين، بحثا خلاله جهود خفض التصعيد الإقليمي.

وأكد جلالتاهما، خلال الاتصال، ضرورة التوصل إلى تهدئة شاملة تعيد للمنطقة أمنها واستقرارها، مشددين على رفضهما للاعتداءات الإيرانية على المملكتين وعدد من الدول العربية.

وشدد جلالة الملك على ضرورة وقف الاعتداءات الإسرائيلية المستمرة على الفلسطينيين في الضفة الغربية، محذرا من استغلال أوضاع المنطقة كذريعة لفرض واقع جديد في القدس والضفة الغربية.
