استقبل رئيس هيئة الأركان المشتركة اللواء الركن يوسف الحنيطي، الأحد، في مكتبه بالقيادة العامة، عضو لجنة القوات المسلحة في مجلس الشيوخ الأميركي السيناتور جوني إرنست.

وبحث اللواء الركن الحنيطي مع السيناتور إرنست أوجه التعاون العسكري والدفاعي بين الأردن والولايات المتحدة الأميركية الصديقة، وسبل تعزيزها وتطويرها، لا سيما في مجالات التدريب والتأهيل وتبادل الخبرات وبناء القدرات والتنسيق المشترك، بما يخدم مصالح القوات المسلحة في البلدين.

حضر اللقاء السفير الأميركي والملحق الدفاعي في عمّان وعدد من كبار ضباط القوات المسلحة الأردنية.
