نددت الأمم المتحدة الأربعاء بـ"تفاقم" عنف المستوطنين وعمليات ضم الأراضي بعد عامين على إعلان محكمة العدل الدولية أن احتلال إسرائيل للضفة الغربية غير قانوني.

وقالت المتحدثة باسم مفوضية الأمم المتحدة لحقوق الإنسان رافينا شمدساني في بيان إنه "في ظل بلوغ هجمات المستوطنين الإسرائيليين وعمليات إنشاء المستوطنات والبؤر الاستيطانية أعلى مستوياتها على الإطلاق، يتعين على الدول الأخرى التحرك بشكل عاجل وموحد لوقف عمليات القتل ونزع الملكية المستمرة التي يتعرض لها الشعب الفلسطيني، وإنهاء الاحتلال الإسرائيلي".
