أجرى نائب رئيس الوزراء ووزير الخارجية وشؤون المغتربين أيمن الصفدي، الاثنين، اتصالًا هاتفيًّا مع وزير الخارجية وشؤون أوروبا الجديد في جمهورية مالطا الصديقة كريس فيرن.

وبحث الوزيران خلال الاتصال سبل تعزيز علاقات الصداقة بين البلدين، وتعزيز التعاون ثنائيًّا وفي إطار الاتحاد الأوروبي.

وبحث الصفدي وفيرن التطورات الإقليمية، والجهود المبذولة لإنهاء التصعيد في المنطقة. وهنّأ الصفدي نظيره المالطي على موقعه الجديد وزيرًا للخارجية.

واتفق الوزيران على إدامة التواصل والتنسيق حول سبل تطوير العلاقات الثنائية، وإزاء القضايا الإقليمية والدولية ذات الاهتمام المشترك.
