بدأت فرق إنقاذ، الأحد، البحث عن 23 شخصا مفقودا إثر غرق سفينة فيتنامية في بحر الصين الجنوبي، في حين تسنى انتشال 39 شخصا من المياه، وفق تلفزيون الصين المركزي (سي.سي.تي.في).

ونقل التلفزيون المركزي عن السلطات في إقليم هاينان القول إن سفينة الشحن (خوي نجوين 18)، التي كانت تقل 62 مواطنا فيتناميا، تعرضت لواقعة في المياه القريبة من منطقة فيري كروس للشعاب المرجانية.

وأشار التلفزيون إلى أن سفينة الإنقاذ الصينية "نانهاي جيو 115" رصدت لأول مرة شعلة استغاثة انطلقت من السفينة مساء السبت.

وأضاف أن 6 سفن صينية وطائرة مروحية وسفينة فيتنامية انضمت إلى جهود البحث والإنقاذ.
