وقعت كل من الأردن والإمارات مذكرة تفاهم لإنشاء لجنة مشتركة للشؤون القنصلية.

ووقع المذكرة في ديوان عام وزارة الخارجية الإماراتية بأبوظبي، السفير الأردني بأبوظبي ماجد ثلجي القطارنة مع الوكيل المساعد للشؤون القنصلية الإماراتي فيصل عيسى لطفي، بحضور القنصل العام الأردني في دبي والإمارات الشمالية عمر العتوم.

وتأتي المذكرة التي وقعت بحضور مسؤولي البلدين تجسيدًا للعلاقات الأخوية الراسخة والشراكة الوثيقة التي تجمع البلدين، وانطلاقًا من الحرص المشترك على تعزيز التعاون الثنائي في مختلف المجالات، ولا سيما في المجال القنصلي، بما يسهم في تطوير العمل القنصلي والارتقاء بمستوى الخدمات القنصلية المقدمة لمواطني البلدين.
