مسقط تدعو إلى تجنب التصعيد في البحر الأحمر واستئناف المسار السياسي باليمن

أكدت سلطنة عُمان ضرورة تجنّب التصعيد في منطقة البحر الأحمر وأي تهديدات من شأنها تعقيد الوضع أو تعريض حرية الملاحة للخطر، مشيرة إلى مواصلة جهودها لاستئناف المسار السياسي في اليمن.

وقالت وزارة الخارجية العُمانية في بيان مقتضب، الخميس، إن السلطنة تتابع باهتمام بالغ التطورات المرتبطة بالوضع في البحر الأحمر، مؤكدة أهمية خفض التوتر والحفاظ على أمن المنطقة واستقرارها.

وأضافت أن مسقط تعمل حاليا بالتنسيق مع المملكة العربية السعودية والأطراف اليمنية والمبعوث الخاص للأمم المتحدة إلى اليمن، بهدف استئناف المسار السياسي وخارطة الطريق بما يحقق الأمن والاستقرار في المنطقة.
