يجري رئيس الوزراء العراقي علي الزيدي، الخميس، زيارة رسمية إلى إيران، يلتقي خلالها كبار المسؤولين الإيرانيين لبحث الملفات ذات الاهتمام المشترك وتعزيز التعاون الثنائي.

وقال الزيدي في تدوينة على منصة "إكس" إن الزيارة تتضمن مناقشة آفاق التعاون بين بغداد وطهران والتشاور بشأن القضايا الإقليمية والجهود الرامية إلى دعم الأمن والاستقرار في المنطقة.

وأكد أن العراق وإيران تجمعهما روابط تاريخية وحضارية وحدود جغرافية ومصالح مشتركة، مشددا على أهمية مواصلة العمل بروح الحوار والتعاون والاحترام المتبادل بما يسهم في تعزيز التنمية والازدهار للشعبين ودعم الاستقرار على المستويين الإقليمي والدولي.
