أكّد نائب رئيس الوزراء وزير الخارجية وشؤون المغتربين أيمن الصفدي، ووزير خارجية مملكة البحرين الشقيقة الدكتور عبد اللطيف بن راشد الزياني، اليوم الأحد، إدانة الاعتداءات الإيرانية على الأردن والبحرين وعلى الدول الشقيقة في مجلس التعاون الخليجي، والتضامن المطلق في مواجهتها.

وحذّر الوزيران في اتصال هاتفيّ من خطورة استمرار التصعيد، وما يمثّل من تهديد للأمن والسلم الإقليميين والدوليين، وأكّدا ضرورة إنهائه والعودة إلى المفاوضات سبيلا لإنهاء الأزمة والتوصل إلى حل شامل يعالج كل أسباب التوتر.

وشدّد الصفدي والزياني على ضرورة ضمان حرية الملاحة في مضيق هرمز وفق القانون الدولي.
