قال رئيس الوزراء العراقي علي الزيدي، الثلاثاء، إنه بعد 30 أيلول لن تكون هناك حاجة لوجود أي فصائل، مؤكدا أن القوات الأمنية العراقية قادرة على حماية أراضي البلاد.

وأضاف الزيدي خلال لقائه الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب، أنه تم استلام كميات كبيرة من الأسلحة من بعض الفصائل، مشيرا إلى أن الحكومة ستتعاون مع من يتحول منها إلى العمل السياسي.

وأشار إلى أن خسائر العراق جراء الإرهاب تجاوزت 400 مليار دولار.

وأكد رئيس الوزراء العراقي أنه جاء إلى واشنطن للحديث عن مستقبل العلاقة مع الولايات المتحدة، معتبرا أن واشنطن أهم شريك استراتيجي في العالم.

وبين الزيدي أن العراق بحاجة إلى حصة إنتاج عادلة ضمن منظمة البلدان المصدرة للبترول (أوبك).
