قال الناطق الإعلامي باسم مديرية الأمن العام إن بلاغاً ورد إلى غرفة عمليات دفاع مدني البلقاء يفيد بتعرض ثلاثة أشخاص من جنسية آسيوية للغرق داخل إحدى البرك الزراعية في منطقة دير علا بمحافظة البلقاء.

وأضاف أن فرق الدفاع المدني المختصة تحركت على الفور إلى الموقع، حيث عملت على إخراج الأشخاص من البركة، إلا أنه تبين وفاة شاب يبلغ من العمر (25) عاماً، وطفل يبلغ من العمر (7) سنوات، فيما أُصيب شخص آخر يبلغ من العمر (19) عاماً.

وأشار إلى أن طواقم الإسعاف قدمت الإسعافات الأولية اللازمة للمصاب، قبل نقله إلى مستشفى الأميرة إيمان الحكومي لتلقي العلاج، كما جرى إخلاء الوفاتين إلى المستشفى ذاته، فيما باشرت الجهات المختصة التحقيق للوقوف على ملابسات الحادث
