توجهت جاهة كريمة من عائلة الربيع، إلى مضارب عائلة أبو عبيد، لطلب يد كريمة رئيس نادي الحسين إربد السيد عامر أبو عبيد، لابنهم عمرو عدنان الربيع.

وضمت الجاهة عدداً من أصحاب الدولة والمعالي والعطوفة والوجهاء والأهل والأقارب، وطلب باسم آل الربيع دولة الدكتور بشر الخصاونة، فيما أجاب الطلب عن آل أبو عبيد دولة الدكتور عبد الرؤوف الروابدة.
