ناقش وزير الخارجية الإيراني عباس عراقجي، الخميس، خلال اتصالين هاتفيين منفصلين مع نظيريه العُماني والتركي، آخر التطورات الإقليمية، بما في ذلك الأحداث الأخيرة في مضيق هرمز، وفق بيان صادر عن وزارة الخارجية الإيرانية.

وأكد وزراء خارجية إيران وعُمان وتركيا، بحسب البيان، ضرورة استخدام القنوات الدبلوماسية لمنع التصعيد.

وقال مصدر في وزارة الخارجية التركية، إن وزير الخارجية التركي هاكان فيدان ناقش آخر التطورات ووقف إطلاق النار مع نظيره الإيراني في مكالمة هاتفية.
