قال المتحدث باسم وزارة الدفاع الكويتية إن القوات المسلحة الكويتية رصدت، فجر الخميس، 3 صواريخ باليستية، وصاروخ جوال، و 10 طائراتٍ مسيّرةٍ معادية داخل المجال الجوي الكويتي، وقد تم اعتراضها والتعامل معها.

وأسفر ذلك عن وقوع أضرار مادية نتيجة سقوط شظايا في عدد من المواقع ، إضافة إلى تسجيل إصابة واحدة، حيث يتلقى المصاب الرعاية الطبية اللازمة.

كما قامت مجموعة التفتيش والتخلص من المتفجرات التابعة لهندسة القوة البرية بالتعامل مع عدد من البلاغات المتعلقة بمخلفات عمليات الاعتراض.

وأكدت القوات المسلحة الكويتية استمرارها في أداء مهامها وواجباتها بكفاءة واقتدار، في إطار الجاهزية المستمرة والاستعداد الدائم، بما يعزز أمن الوطن ويحفظ سلامة المواطنين والمقيمين.
