قالت وزارة الخارجية الإيرانية الثلاثاء إن طهران سترد بشكل "حاسم" على الضربات التي نفذتها الولايات المتحدة ضدّ أهداف في مضيق هرمز، مشيرة إلى أن الولايات المتحدة انتهكت مرارا مذكرة التفاهم بين البلدين.

وقالت الوزارة في بيان نشره التلفزيون الرسمي الإيراني على قناته في تلغرام "توجه إيران تحذيرا جادا في شأن عواقب خرق الولايات المتحدة الاتفاق"، مؤكدة أنها "ستتخذ إجراءات حاسمة لحماية مصالحها وأمنها القومي".
