ارتفعت حصيلة ضحايا الزلزالين اللذين ضربا فنزويلا في 24 حزيران/يونيو إلى 3685 قتيلا، وفق بيان نشرته الحكومة الثلاثاء.

وجاء في البيان "الحصيلة الرسمية بتاريخ 7 تموز/يوليو: 3685 قتيلا، و16 ألفا و740 جريحا".

وتتجنّب السلطات التحدث عن المفقودين، لكن الأمم المتحدة تقدّر أن عددهم قد يصل إلى 50 ألفا، في حين تشير تقديرات أخرى إلى نحو 10 آلاف.

وأفادت الحصيلة السابقة الإثنين بسقوط 3535 قتيلا.

ووقع الزلزالان اللذان بلغت قوة أحدهما 7,2 درجات والثاني 7,5 درجات، بفارق 39 ثانية وطالا خصوصا شمال فنزويلا.
