حذر الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة أنطونيو غوتيريش، الاثنين، من أن الذكاء الاصطناعي يتطور بوتيرة أسرع من قدرة أي أحد على مواكبته، وحث على ضرورة وضع قواعد منسقة على الصعيد العالمي للحد من المخاطر المحتملة لا سيما تلك التي تهدد الأطفال.

وقال أمام المندوبين المشاركين في أول حوار عالمي على مستوى الحكومات حول الذكاء الاصطناعي والمنعقد في جنيف "التكنولوجيا التي يمكنها إعادة تشكيل الاقتصادات وتغيير عالم العمل والتأثير على الانتخابات وتغيير موازين الأمن، تنتشر بوتيرة أسرع من قدرة أي شخص –بما في ذلك من يطورونها– على مواكبتها".
