قالت رئيسة المفوضية الأوروبية أورسولا فون دير لاين، الاثنين، إن قمة حلف شمال الأطلسي التي ستعقد هذا الأسبوع في تركيا ستناقش حاجة أوكرانيا الملحة لمزيد من أنظمة الدفاع الجوي، وذلك في ضوء الهجمات الواسعة التي شنتها عليها روسيا في الآونة الأخيرة.

وكتبت فون دير لاين على إكس "ليلة أمس، شن النظام الروسي مرة أخرى هجوما جوا عشوائيا على المدنيين، واستخدم أكثر من 400 طائرة مسيرة وصاروخ في الهجوم على العاصمة. أوكرانيا تحتاج بشكل عاجل إلى المزيد من الدفاعات الجوية. وسنناقش هذا الأمر هذا الأسبوع في أنقرة خلال قمة حلف شمال الأطلسي".

وأضافت "سنواصل زيادة الضغط حتى تتوقف روسيا عن إراقة الدماء".
