أعلن المدير العام لمنظمة الصحة العالمية الخميس، انتهاء موجة فيروس هانتا الذي انتشر على سفينة "ام في هونديوس" السياحية وأثار قلقا كبيرا على الصعيد العالمي.

وقال تيدروس أدهانوم غيبرييسوس خلال مؤتمر صحفي في جنيف "اليوم، أنهى آخر شخص خالط آخر تعرّض لفيروس هانتا على متن السفينة السياحية ام في هونديوس حجره الصحي وكانت نتيجة فحصه سلبية وهو عاد إلى دياره".

وأضاف "لم تسجّل أيّ حالة أخرى منذ 25 أيار. ويسعدنا إذن في منظمة الصحة العالمية أن نعلن انتهاء تفشي فيروس هانتا"، مشيرا إلى أن موجة الفيروس هذه تسبّبت في 13 إصابة، بينها 3 وفيات.
