دانت جمهورية مصر العربية بأشد العبارات الاعتداءات الإيرانية التي استهدفت دولتي الكويت والبحرين الشقيقتين باستخدام الصواريخ والطائرات المسيرة، بما يمثل انتهاكا صارخا لسيادتهما، وتهديدا لأمنهما واستقرارهما، وتصعيدا مرفوضا يقوض الجهود الرامية إلى ترسيخ التهدئة وخفض التوتر في المنطقة.

وجددت مصر في بيان صادر عن وزارة خارجيتها، تضامنها الكامل مع الكويت والبحرين، ودعمها التام لكل ما تتخذانه من إجراءات للحفاظ على أمنهما واستقرارهما.

وأكدت ضرورة الالتزام بالمسار التفاوضي القائم، ودعم الجهود الجادة المبذولة لخفض حدة التصعيد في المنطقة، واللجوء إلى الحوار والطرق السلمية لتسوية النزاعات، بما يسهم في تعزيز الأمن والاستقرار الإقليميين.
