شهدت فرنسا الثلاثاء اليوم الأشد حرا على الإطلاق منذ بدء تسجيل البيانات في العام 1947، بحسب ما أفادت هيئة الأرصاد الجوية، في خضم موجة قيظ تشمل دولا عدة في غرب أوروبا.

وأوردت هيئة الأرصاد الجوية أن متوسط المؤشر الحراري الوطني وهو معدل يُحتسب على أساس 30 محطة مرجعية، بلغ 29,8 درجة مئوية عند الخامسة عصرا بالتوقيت المحلي، متجاوزا المعدل المسجل في الخامس من آب/أغسطس 2003، والذي كان يبلغ 29,4 درجات.
