المنظمة البحرية الدولية تعلن بدء إجلاء بحارة عالقين في مضيق هرمز

أعلنت المنظمة البحرية الدولية التابعة للأمم المتحدة الثلاثاء أنها ستبدأ إجلاء أكثر من 11 ألف بحار عالقين في الخليج جراء إغلاق مضيق هرمز بسبب الحرب في الشرق الأوسط.

وقال الأمين العام للمنظمة أرسينيو دومينغيز في بيان إن "هذه العملية الواسعة النطاق ستُنفذ بتعاون وثيق مع إيران وسلطنة عمان وجميع الدول الساحلية الأخرى في المنطقة والولايات المتحدة وقطاع الشحن البحري".

وأضاف "لقد حصلنا على الضمانات الأمنية اللازمة وتحققنا بدقة من توافر شروط الملاحة الآمنة لدعم هذه العمليات".
