أحرز لاعب المنتخب الوطني للكراتيه محمد الجعفري الميدالية الذهبية ضمن منافسات وزن تحت 84 كغم في بطولة آسيا المقامة بمدينة بالي الإندونيسية.

وجاء تتويج الجعفري بالميدالية الذهبية بعد فوزه في المباراة النهائية على اللاعب الإماراتي رضا المسعودي بنتيجة 13-3.

كما أحرز لاعب المنتخب الوطني للكراتيه، عبدالرحمن المصاطفة، الميدالية الفضية، ضمن منافسات وزن تحت 67 كغم، ببطولة آسيا.

وأحرزت لاعبة المنتخب الوطني للكراتيه يارا ناصر، الميدالية الفضية، ضمن منافسات وزن تحت 68 كغم، ببطولة آسيا.

وحصد المنتخب الوطني للكراتيه لفئة الرجال، أيضا، الميدالية الذهبية ضمن منافسات القتال الجماعي في البطولة ذاتها.
