أعلن رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي، بنيامين نتنياهو، الاثنين، اعتزامه الترشح في الانتخابات المقرر إجراؤها في وقت لاحق من هذا العام، فيما يواجه انتقادات داخلية بشأن كيفية تعامله مع حرب الشرق الأوسط وتداعياتها.

وقال نتنياهو، أطول رئيس وزراء عهدا في تاريخ إسرائيل، في مؤتمر صحافي متلفز: "سأترشح في الانتخابات وأعتزم الفوز".
