أحبطت المنطقة العسكرية الجنوبية، فجر الأحد، محاولتي تهريب كميات كبيرة من المواد المخدرة بواسطة طائرتين مسيّرتين على واجهتها الغربية ضمن منطقة مسؤوليتها، وذلك بالتنسيق مع الأجهزة الأمنية العسكرية وإدارة مكافحة المخدرات.

وجرى تطبيق قواعد الاشتباك بعد رصدهما من قِبل قوات حرس الحدود وإسقاطهما داخل الأراضي الأردنية، وتم تحويل المضبوطات للجهات المختصة
