قال المرشد الإيراني مجتبى خامنئي في رسالة مكتوبة الخميس، إنّ الولايات المتحدة وإسرائيل تسعيان إلى "زرع الانقسام" بين الإيرانيين بعد تلقي البلدين "ضربة حاسمة" في الحرب.

وجاء في الرسالة أن "الأداة الرئيسة" لإضعاف إيران هي "زرع بذور الشك واليأس والخوف وانعدام الثقة والانقسام"، داعيا إلى "مواجهة هذه النوايا الخبيثة من خلال الثبات والبصيرة والحفاظ على الوحدة والتماسك والثقة المتبادلة، والامتناع عن ترديد ما يقوله العدو".
