أحبطت المنطقة العسكرية الشرقية مساء الثلاثاء على واجهتها وضمن منطقة مسؤوليتها محاولة تهريب كمية من المواد المخدرة محملة بواسطة بالونات موجهة الكترونياً.

وجرى رصد البالونات من قبل وحدات حرس الحدود والتعامل معها وإسقاطها وحمولتها داخل الأراضي الأردنية بالتنسيق مع الأجهزة الأمنية وإدارة مكافحة المخدرات وتم تحويل المضبوطات إلى الجهات المختصة لاتخاذ الإجراءات اللازمة.
