اقترح الرئيس البولندي القومي كارول نافروتسكي الجمعة تجريد الرئيس الأوكراني فولوديمير زيلينسكي من أرفع وسام تمنحه بولندا، وذلك بعدما أطلق الأخير اسم منظمة UPA القومية الأوكرانية على وحدة عسكرية، وهي منظمة متهمة بارتكاب مجازر بحق البولنديين خلال العالمية الثانية.

وبينما أعرب نافروتسكي عن "غضبه الشديد"، قال للصحافيين إنّه اقترح "سحب وسام النسر الأبيض من الرئيس زيلينسكي".
