أعلنت منظمة الأمم المتحدة للطفولة "يونيسف" اليوم الجمعة، أن لبنان يشهد مقتل وإصابة 11 طفلا في المتوسط كل 24 ساعة، خلال الأسبوع الماضي، في خضم الحرب التي تشنها إسرائيل، وفق ما نقلت وكالة (نوفوستي) الإخبارية.

ودعت المنظمة إلى "حماية الأطفال ووقف الهجمات فورا"، محذرة من "تفاقم الأوضاع الإنسانية والنفسية للأطفال في لبنان".

وكثف الجيش الإسرائيلي في الآونة الأخيرة، ضرباته العنيفة على لبنان، مما أدى إلى مقتل وإصابة الآلاف منذ بدء الحرب في الثاني من آذار الماضي، فضلا عن نزوح مئات الآلاف من السكان بناء على أوامر إسرائيلية.
