قالت المديرة العامة للمناطق التنموية، ريم سهاونة، الخميس، إن عدد زوار شاطئ البحر الميت والكورنيش خلال الأيام الثلاثة الماضية بلغ نحو 3500 زائر وزائرة من الأردنيين والعرب والأجانب.

وأضافت سهاونة أن عدد زوار شاطئ البحر الميت خلال عيد الاستقلال بلغ 1111 زائرًا، فيما استقبل الشاطئ في أول أيام عيد الأضحى المبارك 904 زوار.

وأوضحت أن كورنيش البحر الميت استقبل في أول أيام عيد الأضحى نحو 1500 زائر، بينما بلغ عدد زواره خلال عيد الاستقلال نحو 8000 زائر، تزامنًا مع الفعاليات والاحتفاليات التي أُقيمت فيه.

وأكدت أن الدخول إلى كورنيش البحر الميت سيكون مجانًا للعائلات خلال عطلة عيد الأضحى المبارك وحتى يوم الجمعة.
