قال الناطق الإعلامي باسم مديرية الأمن العام إنّ فرق الإنقاذ المتخصصة في مديرية دفاع مدني شرق إربد وبإسناد من المختصين في فريق البحث والإنقاذ الدولي تعاملت مع بلاغ يفيد بوجود شخص تعرّض لحادثة انهيار أتربة وحجارة عليه داخل حفرة يبلغ عمقها(3)م في منطقة كفر جايز بمحافظة إربد .

بدورها عملت الفرق المختصة على تحريره من تحت الردم، باستخدام أحدث المعدات المتخصصة للتعامل مع مثل هذا النوع من الحوادث ، هذا وتبين أنه أُصيب بجروح ورضوض مختلفة في الجسم.

بدورها قامت فرق الإسعاف بتقديم الإسعافات الأولية اللازمة للمصاب ونقله إلى مستشفى اليرموك الحكومي لتلقي العلاج اللازم، ووصفت حالته العامة بالمتوسطة.
