رحّب الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب الإثنين بـ"تطوّر إيجابي للغاية" في المحادثات مع إيران، قال إنه أقنعه بإرجاء هجوم عسكري مخطّط له ضد الجمهورية الإسلامية.

وقال ترامب إن حلفاءه في الشرق الأوسط أبلغوه بأنهم "قريبون جدا من إبرام اتفاق" من شأنه ضمان عدم حيازة إيران أسلحة نووية.

وأضاف ترامب خلال فعالية في البيت الأبيض "إنه تطوّر إيجابي للغاية، لكن سنرى ما إذا سيؤدي إلى شيء أم لا".
