أحبطت المنطقة العسكرية الشرقية الأحد على واجهتها وضمن منطقة مسؤوليتها محاولتي تهريب كمية كبيرة من المواد المخدرة محملة بواسطة بالونات موجهة إلكترونيا، وجرى رصدها من قبل وحدات حرس الحدود والتعامل معها وإسقاطها وحمولتها داخل الأراضي الأردنية بالتنسيق مع الأجهزة الأمنية وإدارة مكافحة المخدرات وتم تحويل المضبوطات إلى الجهات المختصة لاتخاذ الإجراءات اللازمة.
