أعلنت الوكالة الفيدرالية الروسية للطب والبيولوجيا، اليوم الجمعة، عن تطوير لقاح جديد لمكافحة حمى الضنك، مؤكدة بدء إجراء التجارب السريرية عليه حاليا وسط تقييمات بقدرته على علاج الحمى والتقليل من تأثيراتها.

وقالت رئيسة الوكالة فيرونيكا سكفورتسوفا خلال مؤتمر صحفي: "إن العلماء الروس نجحوا في تطوير اللقاح الجديد، المرحلة الحالية تتضمن اختباره سريريا على مرضى متطوعين في عدد من مستشفيات وزارة الصحة الروسية، الأبحاث الروسية لا تقتصر على هذا اللقاح فقط، بل تشمل تطوير مجموعة من اللقاحات الأخرى، من بينها لقاحات تستهدف بعض أنواع السرطان".
