أدرجت منظمة الأمم المتحدة للتربية والعلم والثقافة (اليونسكو) مناسبة اليوبيل الذهبي لجامعة اليرموك ضمن مناسباتها الرسمية للعامين 2026/2027، في خطوة تعكس المكانة الأكاديمية والعلمية التي تحظى بها الجامعة على المستويين الإقليمي والدولي.

وبحسب بيان للجامعة، الثلاثاء، أكّد رئيس الجامعة مالك الشرايري أن هذا الإدراج يمثل تقديراً دولياً لمسيرة الجامعة ودورها في تعزيز قيم العلم والثقافة، وإسهامها في تحقيق التنمية المستدامة وإثراء الإرث الحضاري الإنساني.

وأضاف إن إدراج اليوبيل الذهبي ضمن قائمة مناسبات اليونسكو يرسخ أهمية مواصلة مسيرة التطوير والتميز الأكاديمي، والمضي قدماً نحو مزيد من الإنجاز العلمي، لتبقى الجامعة كما أراد لها الهاشميون مصنعاً للقدوة والقادة، ومركزاً للباحثين والعلماء.
