باير تُعلن عن نتائج إيجابية لعلاج تخثر الدم بعد انتكاسة في 2023

أعلنت شركة الأدوية الألمانية (باير) عن نتائج دراسة إيجابية لدواء أسوندكسيان المضاد للتخثر اليوم الأحد، وذلك بعد عامين من انتكاسة بحثية لهذا الدواء الواعد.

وقالت باير إن جرعة يومية قدرها 50 مليجراما من الدواء، في دراسة من المرحلة الثالثة، قللت بشكل كبير من خطر الإصابة بالسكتة الدماغية الإقفارية مقارنة بالعلاج الوهمي.

وذكرت الشركة أن النتائج التفصيلية لدراسة (أوشانيك-ستروك) ستُعرض في مؤتمر علمي قادم.

وأضافت باير أنها تعتزم التحدث مع السلطات الصحية في أنحاء العالم استعدادا لتقديم طلبات الحصول على تراخيص لتسويق الدواء.

وفي نهاية عام 2023، واجهت الشركة انتكاسة كبيرة عندما فشل العقار في تجربة سريرية محورية شملت مرضى يعانون من رجفان أذيني ومُعرّضين لخطر السكتة الدماغية. (رويترز)
