أعلن المدعي العام في فلوريدا، جيمس أوثماير، عن استدعاء شركة روبلوكس للتحقيق في مزاعم تعرّض الأطفال للاستغلال عبر منصتها، واصفًا إياها بأنها "أرض خصبة للجناة المفترسين".

وفي مقطع فيديو نُشر عبر منصة "إكس"، اتهم أوثماير الشركة بتحقيق الأرباح من الأطفال دون اتخاذ التدابير اللازمة لحمايتهم، مؤكدًا أن الاستدعاءات تهدف إلى جمع معلومات حول نشاط إجرامي مزعوم على المنصة، تشمل أدلة تتعلق بجناة وضحايا محتملين.

ورغم تعزيز الشركة لإجراءات الحماية، تواجه روبلوكس دعاوى قضائية وتدقيقًا متزايدًا، بينما حظرت العراق المنصة مؤخرًا بسبب مخاوف تتعلق بسلامة المستخدمين الصغار ومخالفة القيم المجتمعية.
