أجرى جلالة الملك عبدﷲ الثاني، اليوم الاثنين، اتصالا هاتفيا مع الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب.

تناول الاتصال أبرز التطورات المتعلقة بالخطة التي طرحها الرئيس ترمب لإنهاء الحرب على غزة، إذ أكد جلالته ضرورة الوقف الفوري لإطلاق النار وإيصال المساعدات الكافية.

وشدد جلالة الملك على أهمية العمل لاستعادة الاستقرار في المنطقة وتجنب أية إجراءات تقوض فرص تحقيق السلام.

وحذر جلالته من مخاطر التصعيد في الضفة الغربية والقدس.

كما تناول الاتصال الدور المحوري للولايات المتحدة في الإقليم، وسبل تعزيز الشراكة الاستراتيجية بين البلدين.
