قالت الدكتورة ليودميلا سوخوروكوفا، أخصائية أمراض الجهاز الهضمي، إنه لا يُنصح بتناول العنب خلال فترات تفاقم قرحة المعدة أو قرحة الاثني عشر.

ووفقا لها، يشمل ذلك أيضا مرضى السكري والسمنة وارتفاع ضغط الدم، لاحتوائه على كمية كبيرة من السكر.

وقالت: "لا يُنصح بتناول العنب خلال فترة تفاقم قرحة المعدة أو قرحة الاثني عشر، وكذلك في حالات الانتفاخ والإسهال. وتشمل موانع الاستعمال أيضا: السكري، السمنة، ارتفاع ضغط الدم، تليف الكبد، التهاب القولون، تسوس الأسنان، والتهاب الفم، لاحتوائه على كمية كبيرة جدا من السكر".
