روسيا: لقاح السرطان جاهز للاستخدام السريري

أعلنت الوكالة الفيدرالية الطبية البيولوجية الروسية، اليوم الخميس، عن أن اللقاح المضاد للسرطان، أصبح جاهزاً للاستخدام السريري بعد استكمال جميع مراحل الدراسات ما قبل السريرية التي استمرت ثلاث سنوات.

وقالت الوكالة في بيان صحفي:"أثبتت الدراسات أن اللقاح آمن حتى مع تكرار الجرعات، وفعال في تقليل حجم الأورام وإبطاء نموها بنسبة تراوحت بين 60% و80%، بحسب نوع الورم وخصائصه، سيتم استخدام اللقاح في مرحلته الأولى مع مرضى سرطان القولون والمستقيم، تمهيدا لتوسيعه لاحقا ليشمل أنواعا أخرى من السرطانات".
