أعلنت بلدية إربد الكبرى عن بدء أعمال المرحلة الأولى من مشروع إعادة إنشاء حديقة تونس، وذلك بهدف تجديد مرافقها وتهيئتها لاستقبال الزوار. وتركز هذه المرحلة الأولية على تحسين البنية التحتية الأساسية للحديقة.

وتشمل أعمال المرحلة الأولى من المشروع إنشاء وحدات صحية جديدة، وتركيب سياج حديدي محيط بالحديقة، إضافة إلى أعمال صيانة وتأهيل المبنى الرئيسي وتهدف هذه الإجراءات إلى توفير بيئة أكثر أمانًا وراحة للمواطنين.

ومن المقرر أن يتبع هذه المرحلة، مرحلة ثانية سيتم فيها تحديث وتجديد الألعاب والمرافق الترفيهية الأخرى داخل الحديقة، بما يساهم في إعادتها لتكون وجهة مفضلة للعائلات والأطفال.
