تسعى الجمعية الأردنية لمساندة ذوي الإعاقة جاهدة ومنذ تأسيسها عام 2015 للنهوض بالمنتفعين وتخفيف الأعباء الإقتصادية على ذويهم.

وأكدت مديرة الجمعية سلطانة الجبور خلال حديث خاص الى "الرأي" وجود تحديات تواجه الجمعية التي ينتفع من خدماتها ما يقارب ال 150 شخص من مختلف الإعاقات الحركية والتوحد وداون والاعلاقات العقلية البسيطة والمتوسطة بقضاء زي الذي يضم 4 مناطق اضافة الى المناطق المجاورة أبرزها الهم الإقتصادي وعدم وجود دعم ثابت يضمن تقديم الخدمات دون انقطاع.

وأوضحت الجبور أن عدم وجود مركز متخصص لذوي الإعاقة مجاني وبعد المسافة وعدم توفر المواصلات للجهات المعنية ذات العلاقة يعد تحدياً يحول دون الوقوف بجانب فئة مهمشة يطلق عليها ذوي الهمم.
