نظم مركز الحسين للسرطان ورشة توعوية تعريفية حول أضرار التدخين وآثاره السلبية على الصحة العامة في مقر شركة العقبة لإدارة المرافق ضمن سلسلة فعالياته التوعوية الهادفة إلى تعزيز الوعي المجتمعي بمخاطر التدخين .

وهدفت الورشة إلى توعية الموظفين بأضرار التدخين وتسليط الضوء على العلاقة المباشرة بين التدخين والإصابة بالأمراض السرطانية كما تم التطرق إلى العوامل النفسية والإدمانية المرتبطة بالتدخين وأساليب الإقلاع الفعالة المدعومة من قبل برامج مركز الحسين للسرطان.

وثمنت إدارة شركة العقبة لإدارة المرافق هذه المبادرة التوعوية من مركز الحسين للسرطان مؤكدة التزام الشركة بتوفير بيئة صحية وآمنة لموظفيها.
