بلغت مستحقات المقاولين على وزارة الأشغال العامة والإسكان، نحو (٤٠٠) مليون دينار، بحسب رئيس قسم الطرق في الوزارة، المهندس معن الرواشدة.

وقال الرواشدة إن المستحقات تشمل جميع المقاولين العاملين في مناطق المملكة، مشيراً إلى أن الوزارة سددت ديوناً مترتبة عليها للمقاولين منذ سنوات.

وكان نقيب المقاولين المهندس أحمد اليعقوب أكد ضرورة صرف المستحقات للمقاولين كونه القطاع الذي ينفذ مشاريع الدولة، ويعد من ضمن القطاعات النشطة في الأردن، ولا يمكن تعطيل سير عمل القطاع بسبب مستحقات مالية.
