رجح مصدر مطلع أن تعلن الحكومة تثبيت أسعار المشتقات النفطية الرئيسية مع نهاية هذا الشهر، وبحسب المصدر لم يحدث تغير كبير على الأسعار خلال الشهر الحالي.

وبين المصدر أن الأسعار لهذا الشهر كانت متأرجحة بين الهبوط والارتفاع دون حدوث تغير جذري في معدل الأسعار حيث تراوحت الأسعار ما بين (62 إلى 65) دولارا للبرميل ما بين الهبوط والصعود.

وبين المصدر أن أسعار النفط تتأثر دائما في الأحداث السياسية والاقتصادية، لافتا إلى أن ردات الفعل بسبب الأحداث الفورية التي من الممكن أن تؤدي إلى ارتفاع فوري في أسعار النفط ويقابلها انخفاض فوري تنتهي بانحصار تأثير الحدث لتعود الأسعار للانخفاض.

ولاحظ المصدر أن الارتفاع البطيء لأسعار النفط والتي تكون بالعادة لأسباب تتعلق بالنمو الاقتصادي العالمي هو الأكثر تأثير على سعر النفط العالمي.
