أعلنت السلطات السورية مقتل جندي وإصابة 23 شخصاً معظمهم من المدنيين بجروح متفاوتة، جراء انفجار سيارة مفخخة قرب مبنى تابع لوزارة الدفاع في منطقة باب شرقي بدمشق.

ووفقا لوكالة الأنباء السورية، قالت إدارة الإعلام والاتصال في وزارة الدفاع اليوم الثلاثاء، إن مجموعة تابعة للجيش اكتشفت عبوة ناسفة معدة للتفجير قرب أحد المباني التابعة لوزارة الدفاع بمنطقة باب شرقي بدمشق، وقامت بتفكيكها قبل أن تنفجر سيارة مفخخة بالمنطقة نفسها، وتودي بحياة الجندي.

وقال مدير الإسعاف والطوارئ في وزارة الصحة، الدكتور نجيب النعسان، إن الانفجار أدى إلى 23 إصابة جرى نقلها إلى المستشفيات القريبة، وتم تقديم جميع الإسعافات والإجراءات الصحية اللازمة لهم.
