قال عضو اللجنة الوطنية للأوبئة بسام حجاوي، الأربعاء، إن عدد الإصابات بفيروس كورونا المستجد، يدل على أن الأردن لايزال في "ذروة الانتكاسة".

ولم يستبعد حجاوي زيادة عدد الإصابات بالفيروس لـثلاثة أو أربعة أضعاف.

وأشار حجاوي إلى أن الفحوص المخبرية لم تعد عشوائية، بل أصبحت موجهة نحو المخالطين المباشرين، في ظل انتشار الفيروس.

وسجل الأردن الأربعاء، "ارتفاعا حادا" في حصيلة الإصابات اليومية بالفيروس بعد تسجيل 1776 إصابة جديدة بالفيروس. (المملكة)
