كشفت الإحصاءات الرسمية لمؤشر العمرة، الصادر عن وزارة الحج والعمرة السعودية، حلول الأردن بالمركز العاشر في عدد المعتمرين، منذ بدء الموسم لهذا العام.

واظهر المؤشر اصدار 2,031,751 تأشيرة عمرة ، منذ بدء موسم العمرة لهذا العام في غرة محرم ١٤٤١هـ وحتى 15 من ربيع الثاني 1441هـ، وجاء مجموع المعتمرين القادمين إلى المملكة 1,566,754 معتمرًا، فيما سجلت الإحصاءات مغادرة 1,221,304 معتمرًا بعد أن أتموا مناسك العمرة والزيارة.

أما أكثر الجنسيات قدوما فكانت وبالترتيب: باكستان 411,140 ، تليها إندونيسيا 368,193، وثالثاً جاءت الهند 221,956، ثم ماليزيا 97,709، وتركيا خامسا بـ 65,083 معتمرًا. وتأتي بعدها كل من: مصر 53,962، بنجلاديش 47,962، الجزائر 45,950 ،الإمارات 29,544، الأردن 23,926 معتمراً.
