بعد موجة انتقادات وجهت له من قبل العراقيين لـ"عدم" مبالاته بالأحداث التي تشهدها البلاد، قرر الفنان العراقي كاظم الساهر إلغاء حفل له كان مقررا في السعودية.

وكتب على حسابه الرسمي في "تويتر": "نود أن نلفت عنايتكم إلى أنه تم إلغاء مشاركة كاظم الساهر في مهرجان موسم الرياض نظراً للظروف الراهنة في العراق الحبيب".

وأضاف "نعتذر من الجمهور السعودي الكريم و نشكر تفهمكم".
